A few years back, I received an unexpected call from my property manager about my tenant who had passed away in an apartment I had been renting him in Miami. Unfortunately, it was a week before the discovery and aside from the initial shock of his death, I was incredibly worried about the safety of my neighbors and apartment. My property manager told me that I’d have to hire a professional biohazard company due to the circumstances. I would never have known that the next phone call I made turned out to be the best possible call ever! I spoke to Anil at ABS and he immediately reassured me that “things will be fine” while making sure someone would be at my apartment to review the space that same day. I had received prompt calls after the initial inspection with his regular updates addressing any potential concerns. Since I had never experienced this before, I could not have been luckier to have had such an incredible professional and informative team at ABS. They were exceptionally supportive as all of the communication was done via phone (I live in New York City). Providing the safest cleanup and supporting me were their two top priorities which made me feel like we were all on the same team. Their expertise in this area is beyond comprehension and they took every step as seriously as the next. Neighbors who had expressed concern about their safety saw how ABS took all precautionary measures to minimize any concerns. Since I was receiving regular updates and pictures along the way, I could see the progress and appreciated how they stayed on schedule. Anil and his team were as professional as it gets; I had not seen anything like this in years. It was an absolute relief once the responsibility had been shifted from me to ABS as I knew they would go beyond the call of duty which I am forever grateful. Everything was taken care of safely, properly and within the timeline while being supported throughout this scary situation. Nobody ever wants to receive this kind of call but if you do, I can reassure you that Anil’s team was one of the most professional and honest people I’ve ever encountered. They take their work seriously and support you every step of the way.
